भारत में फैले कोरोना वायरस महामारी के कारण सबसे अधिक प्रभावित अगर कोई हुआ है तो वो है गरीब निम्न वर्ग | इनमे अधिकतर गरीब दिहाड़ी मजदूर शामिल है जो रोज कमाते और खाते है | इनके सामने सबसे बड़ा संकट दो वक्त की रोटी का है | इसी के तहत बोहोत सी राज्य सरकारों ने पहल करते हुए गरीबो के लिए मुफ्त भोजन और रासन की व्यवस्था की है | अगर हम राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली की बात करे तो दिल्ली की जनसंख्या लगभग 2 करोड़ है लेकिन 72 लाख ऐसे लोग है जिनके राशन कार्ड है |
दिल्ली में काफी जनसंख्या ऐसे लोगो की है जो दुसरे राज्यों से यहाँ काम की तलाश में आते है और lockdown के कारण यहाँ फस गए है | इसी लिए दिल्ली सरकार ऐसे सभी लोगो के लिए फ्री राशन की व्यवस्था का प्रबंध करने जा रही है |
There are four types of Ration Card are as follows:
BPL: This type of card is given to those families who are under the Below Poverty Line. The Government of Delhi provides essential commodities and food-grains at affordable prices.
APL: APL ration card is issued to the families lies between above the poverty line and below the medium class. Under this scheme, the Delhi Government is not liable to issue essentials food at subsidized prices.
AAY Cards: Antyodaya Yojana is issued to the person who is financially weaker in comparison to the other classes. The Government is liable to provide essential commodities at very affordable prices.
AY: A Person under the Annapurna Yojana will get 10kg of food grains every month at free of cost. Only those persons are eligible for this card who is more than 65 years of age and not earning.
The person who is not availing the Old Age Pension or State Pension Scheme is entitled to get Annapurna Yojana Ration Card.
