1 अंक:

Q1. The graphs of y = p(x) are given in Fig., for some polynomials p(x). Find the
number of zeroes of p(x).

आकृति में कुछ बहुपद p(x) के लिए  y = p(x) का ग्राफ दिया गया है |  p(x) के शुन्यकों की संख्या ज्ञात कीजिये | 

2 अंक: 

Q2. if two zeroes of a quadratic polynomial are 2 ± √5 then find the quadratic polynomial.

      यदि एक द्विघात बहुपद का दो शुन्यक 2 ± √5 हैं तो वह द्विघात बहुपद ज्ञात कीजिए |  

Q3. if the sum and product of its zeroes are 1 and -2 respectively, then find the a quadratic polynomial. 

       यदि शुन्यकों का योग एवं उनके गुणनफल क्रमश: 1 तथा -2 है तो वह द्विघात बहुपद ज्ञात कीजिये | 

3 अंक:

Q4. find the zeroes of the quadratic equation 3x² + 5x - 12 and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients.

      द्विघात बहुपद 3x² + 5x - 12 का शुन्यक ज्ञात कीजिये एवं शुन्यकों एवं गुणांकों के बीच संबंध की जाँच कीजिए | 

4 अंक: 

Q5. Divide 3x²– x² – 3x + 5 by x – 1 – x², and verify the division algorithm.

      3x²– x² – 3x + 5 को x – 1 – x² से भाग दीजिये और विभाजन एल्गोरिथम से जाँच कीजिये | 

Q6. If two zeroes of the polynomial x⁴ – 6x³ – 26x² + 138x – 35 are 2 ± √3, find other zeroes.

      बहुपद x⁴ – 6x³ – 26x² + 138x – 35 का दो शुन्यक 2 ± √3 है तो अन्य शुन्यक ज्ञात कीजिए | 

Q7. On dividing x³ – 3x² + x + 2 by a polynomial g(x), the quotient and remainder were x – 2 and –2x + 4, respectively. Find g(x).

      एक बहुपद g(x) से  x³ – 3x^​2 + x + 2 को विभाजित करने पर भागफल एवं शेषफल क्रमश: x – 2 तथा –2x + 4 है तो g(x) ज्ञात कीजिये |
