Modal verb Would का negative form would not या wouldn't होता है। इसका प्रयोग भूतकाल की आदत, भविष्य की उम्मीद, विनम्र अनुरोध और इच्छा के negative रूप में किया जाता है।
1. Would for Past Habit (Negative)
- वह बचपन में पढ़ाई नहीं किया करता था.
He would not study in childhood. - हम स्कूल के बाद घर नहीं जाया करते थे.
We would not go home after school. - वह मेरी बात नहीं सुना करता था.
He would not listen to me.
- वह सुबह जल्दी नहीं उठता था.
- हम शाम को बाहर नहीं जाते थे.
- वह मेरी मदद नहीं करता था.
- हम रोज़ क्रिकेट नहीं खेलते थे.
- वह किताबें नहीं पढ़ता था.
- वह समय पर नहीं आता था.
- हम स्कूल नहीं जाया करते थे.
- वह मेरी बात नहीं मानता था.

2. Future in the Past (Negative)
- उसने कहा कि वह नहीं आएगा.
He said that he would not come. - मुझे लगा कि वह हमारी मदद नहीं करेगा.
I thought that he would not help us. - हमें विश्वास था कि वह नहीं जीतेगा.
We believed that he would not win.
- उसने कहा कि वह कल नहीं आएगा.
- मुझे लगा कि बारिश नहीं होगी.

3. Would Like To (Negative)
- मैं वहाँ जाना नहीं चाहूँगा.
I would not like to go there. - वह यह काम करना नहीं चाहेगा.
He would not like to do this work. - मैं यह फिल्म देखना नहीं चाहूँगा.
I would not like to watch this movie.
- मैं वहाँ जाना नहीं चाहूँगा.
- वह चाय पीना नहीं चाहेगा.
- मैं यह किताब पढ़ना नहीं चाहूँगा.
- वह यहाँ रहना नहीं चाहेगा.
- मैं आपसे मिलना नहीं चाहूँगा.

4. Would Like To Rather Than (Negative)
- मैं बाहर जाने की बजाय घर पर रहना नहीं चाहूँगा.
I would not like to stay at home rather than go out. - वह पढ़ने की बजाय टीवी देखना नहीं चाहेगा.
He would not like to watch TV rather than study.
- मैं चाय पीने की बजाय कॉफी पीना नहीं चाहूँगा.
- वह शहर में रहने की बजाय गाँव में रहना नहीं चाहेगा.
