Comparative Degree: Comparative degree, positive degree की तुलना में अधिक गुण का बोध कराता है | इसका प्रयोग (use) दो वस्तुओं या दो व्यक्तियों के गुणों की तुलना करने के लिए किया जाता है | 

"Comparative degree is used to compare the features of two objects or two persons."

Comparative degree बनाने के लिए सामान्यत: positive degree के Adjective में  (+ er) जोड़ा जाता है | 

जैसे - 

कुछ Adjectives का Comparative Degree बिलकुल अलग होता है - इन्हें याद करना पड़ता है |

कुछ Adjectives का comparative degree More लगाकर बनाया जाता है, ऐसे words कुछ बड़े होते हैं | 

Examples on Comparative degree:

1. Radha is more beautiful than Sita.

   राधा सीता से अधिक सुन्दर है |

2. Mohit is better singer than Amit.

   मोहित अमित से बढ़िया/बेहतर गायक है |

3. She is junior to me.

   वह मुझसे जूनियर है।

4. He is richer than them.

    वह उनसे अधिक अमीर है |

5. You are stronger than me.

    तुम मुझसे अधिक मजबूत हो |
