Answer:

Stanzas 2, 4, and 6 are written in parentheses because they represent Amanda's thoughts and imagination. Whenever she is constantly instructed by the adult, she escapes into her own imaginary world, where she dreams of living freely without restrictions. Answer:

Answer:

No, Amanda is not an orphan. She only imagines herself to be one because she feels that an orphan would be free from constant instructions and restrictions. She wishes to enjoy independence and make her own choices without being repeatedly corrected.

Question 7. Do you know the story of Rapunzel? Why does she want to be Rapunzel?

Answer:

Rapunzel is a famous fairy-tale character with very long hair who lives alone in a tall tower. Amanda wants to be Rapunzel because she believes that living alone in a tower would give her peace, privacy, and freedom from constant supervision and instructions.

Answer:
