पहचान: इसके हिंदी के वाक्यों के अंत में (क्रिया में) रहा था, रही थी, रहे थे आदि लगा रहता है | जैसे-
मैं रो रहा था |
वह लड़ाई कर रहा था |
मैं ध्यान से सुन रहा था |
वह मेरी मजाक उड़ा रही थी |
जबकि इंग्लिश (English) के वाक्यों की मुख्य पहचान यही है कि subject के साथ was/were और मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) में ing लगा रहता है |
जैसे -
I was weeping.
He was fighting.
I was listening carefully.
She was making a fun of me.
Structure of sentences वाक्य की बनावट :
Asserative Sentence:
A.V: Subject + was/were + Verb1 + ing + object + other words.
Ex: मैं संगीत बजा रहा था |
I was playing music .
Negative Sentences:
A.V: Subject + was/were + not + Verb1 + ing + object + other words.
Ex: वे लोग अपना रक्त दान नहीं कर रहे थे |
They were not donating their blood.
Interrogative Sentences:
Helping Verb:
A.V: Was/Were + Subject + Verb1 + ing + object + other words?
Ex: क्या वह खुश हो रही थी ?
Was she being happy?
W.H family:
A.V: W.H + was/were + Subject + Verb1 + ing + object + other words?
Ex: वह कब अपना पाठ सीख रही थी ?
