Types of Mirrors (Basic Idea):

• Plane Mirror: Forms a clear and upright image.

• Convex Mirror: Forms smaller and upright images.

Image Formation in Plane Mirror:

• Image is upright (erect)
• Image is of same size as object
• Image is laterally inverted (left-right reversed)
• Image appears behind the mirror

Example: When you raise your right hand, your image appears to raise its left hand.

Applications of Reflection in Daily Life: Reflection of light is used in many devices and situations in our daily life.
