Astronomy: Astronomy is the branch of science that studies celestial bodies and the Universe.

Importance of Astronomy

(i) Helps us understand the Universe.

(ii) Supports space exploration.

(iii) Improves satellite communication.

(iv) Helps in weather forecasting.

(v) Develops scientific thinking.

Celestial Bodies

Celestial Bodies: Natural objects present in space are called celestial bodies.
