Ans:  When a plant of same kind are grown and cultivated at one place on a large scale. It is called crop.

Ans:  Differences between Kharif crops and Rabi crops:

Kharif crops

Rabi crops
  1. The crops which are sown in the rainy season are called Kharif crops.
  2. It is generally grown from June to September.
  3. Ex. – Paddy, maize, soyabean, cotton etc.

Ans: Nowadays ploughing is done by   tractor driven cultivator. The use of cultivator saves labour and time.
