A diary entry has no fixed format or style of writing. However, a good diary entry does contain the following features;
1. A good diary writing contains the place, the date, the day and even the time of writing.
For example:
New Delhi 4th March 2021
Friday, 8:00 p.m.
2. A diary doesn't need any format heading. However, It is optional. If you want, you can give a suitable heading or solution to your diary. You can even give a name to your diary.
3. The style and tone is generally informal and personal. However, It depends on the subject. Sometimes the tone can be philosophical and reflective too. You can freely express your viewpoint and feelings.
4. As the diary is a writer's personal document, the diary entry doesnot need any signature it is totally optional.
5. You can envolve your own suitable style depending on the topic of your writing.
6. As per CBSE syllabus, Diary/articles should be in about 100-120words.
